At a station with Gas (LPG) turned on, the daily sheet has a Gas (LPG) section beside the fuel ones. It uses the same shifts, attendants, hand-over, money, checks, review and approval as fuel. A gas plant’s sheet has only the Gas section: no fuel meters, deliveries or dips.
Receiving gas by weighbridge ticket and gas on account to dealers come next. Until gas deliveries are on the sheet, a gas tank’s book stock is its opening less the kg sold. Cylinder exchanges and counts are in the same section: see Cylinder exchange.

Dispenser totalizers

For each gas nozzle, type the closing kg totalizer for the shift and take a photo of it, as you do for a fuel meter. The opening comes from the last sheet (or the opening position) and can’t be typed over. Gasos works out:
  • Kg sold: closing − opening.
  • Amount: kg sold × the price per kg.
A totalizer that reads lower than its opening needs explaining, like a fuel meter: it rolled over, was reset or was replaced. Gas dispensers aren’t pump tested.

Attendants and the hand-over

Under Attendants and hand-over, choose who worked each gas dispenser, as for the fuel pumps. An attendant’s expected cash is everything sold on their pumps and dispensers, gas included, plus any cylinder exchanges they made. They hand over POS, transfers and cash in one go, and Gasos shows them short or over. Gas sales are in the day’s Total sales and the cash to bank.

Changing the gas price

Once the station trades, the gas price changes on the sheet, not in Station setup. In the Gas section, press Change gas price at the moment the price changes, and enter every gas nozzle’s totalizer then, with photos. Kg before the change are sold at the old price, kg after at the new one, and the sheet shows both. A station that turns Gas on while it already trades sets its first gas price in Station setup → Gas (LPG).

Tank gauges

At close, read each gas tank’s gauge and enter what it shows:
  • Percentage gauge: the percentage, like 54.5. Gasos turns it into kg from the tank’s capacity: 54.5% of 20,000 kg is 10,900 kg.
  • Kilogram gauge: the kg.
Tonight’s gauge is tomorrow’s opening stock. Gasos compares the gauge with the book stock: opening − kg sold. A difference larger than the station’s allowance needs a reason before you can submit. The allowance is set in Station setup → Rules under Gas tank difference: by default 2% of the kg sold, and at least 100 kg, because gauges are rougher than fuel dips. A tank left without a gauge reading is a warning, and its stock is unknown until it’s read.

Review and Today

Reviewers see gas with the rest of the day: the kg sold, each attendant’s hand-over, the gauges and any reasons. The summary you share by WhatsApp lists the gas sold at each price and the gauges. On Today, a gas tank whose gauge is beyond its allowance, or that wasn’t gauged, shows under Needs attention, and the stations table has a Gas sold column. The Daily summary and Sales reports show the kg of gas sold, and their sales totals include gas.
