Count the cash

At close, count the cash note by note in the Cash count. Gasos compares it with what’s expected: sales − POS and transfers − expenses. Any difference needs a reason.

Bank it

Bank the cash the next working day. Under Money, choose Record a deposit: the amount, the bank, the teller number and a photo of the deposit slip. Gasos splits it across the oldest unbanked days first; change the split if the cash came from different days. One deposit can cover several days, and one day’s cash can go in several deposits. A day can never be banked for more than was counted.

Cash not yet banked

Money shows the cash still in the safe for each day. Cash unbanked for more than two days is flagged to the owner.
